Aujourd\u2019hui, des lignages majeurs d\u2019arthropodes d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e9conomique, m\u00e9dical ou v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire n\u2019existeraient pas tels que nous les connaissons sans ces associations symbiotiques. C\u2019est le cas des tiques : leur sp\u00e9cialisation sur un r\u00e9gime h\u00e9matophage stricte est d\u00e9pendante de la pr\u00e9sence de symbiotes bact\u00e9riens intracellulaires produisant des vitamines B. Cette compl\u00e9mentation nutritionnelle symbiotiques est n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la survie et la croissance des tiques.
