How is Brazil addressing the growing threat of vector-borne diseases in a changing climate?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Brazil, the “One Health” approach \u2014 integrating human, animal and environmental health \u2014 is essential to tackle challenges such zoonoses and arboviroses.<\/p>\n

Our new film presented during the COP30 Brazil<\/a> in Belem highlights how community engagement, local knowledge and transdisciplinary research play a decisive role, whether in the Amazon or in urban favelas, in preventing epidemics and strengthening community resilience in the face of health risks amplified by climate change and global transformations.<\/p>\n

The film co-produced by IRD<\/a>–MIVEGEC<\/a> and FIOCRUZ – Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Oswaldo Cruz<\/a> showcases the impact of Franco\u2013Brazilian cooperation, South\u2013South partnerships, and scientific projects such as INOVEC Project<\/a>, MOSAIC european project- IRD<\/a>, WINSA Network<\/a> and PREZODE<\/a>, which focus on surveillance, prevention and sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n
